A Sony Pictures divulgou o primeiro trailer de "After Earth", novo
filme de Will Smith, que conta também com a participação de seu filho,
Jaden Smith.
Na trama, mil anos depois de um cataclisma ter forçado a humanidade a
sair da Terra, Nova Prime se tornou o novo lar dos humanos. O lendário
general Cypher Raige (Will Smith) retorna para sua família depois de
uma longa ausência a serviço, pronto para criar seu filho de 13 anos
Kitai (Jaden Smith). Quando uma tempestade de asteroides danifica a nave
de Cypher e Kitai, eles caem numa Terra perigosa e inóspita.
Enquanto
seu pai fica à beira da morte no cockpit da nave, Kitai deve percorrer o
terreno hostil para recuperar seu sinalizador de resgate.
A produção é dirigida M. Night Shyamalan ("O Sexto Sentido", "O Último Mestre do Ar") e tem estreia prevista para o dia 7 de julho de 2013. Além do filme também será lançado série de livros no Brasil pela editora Suma das Letras.
